We provide a consolidated repository of CSR projects undergoing in the district to avoid duplication of efforts and evaluate the effectiveness of projects implemented by various agencies.

We act as a bridge between corporates, NGOs and industry associations to implement CSR efficiently and enable ample opportunities for efficient investment of CSR funds.

FAST-TRACK

We expedite government clearances needed to initiate a CSR project as well as extend help in conceptualisation, proposal development and liaison with implementing agencies.

You can work in collaboration with the government, NGOs, experts in the field and citizens of the district, leading to a cumulative synergy and larger impact.

Vadodara Collectorate under the stewardship of the Collector, has constituted the District CSR Cell to advise, assist, facilitate and collaborate with corporates to make CSR investments more meaningful and effective.

We are committed to make Vadodara an all-inclusive growth oriented city and the District CSR Cell, with representation from the government, industry and NGOs, will play a steering role in translating this vision to reality.

Large number of responsible corporate houses in Vadodara are utilising their financial and other resources to bring about a positive change in the community. The section 135 of the Companies Act also imposes substantial CSR obligation on the major companies.

Being a new facet for most corporates, it poses many challenges such as identifying a project that will make a true difference to the community, co-ordinating government approvals and permissions, identifying which government department to contact, zeroing in on interventions that will provide high social ROI, getting to know about ongoing projects which if supported by the corporates will yield exponential results etc.

Many a times, unknowingly, some of these activities are inadvertently replicating Government's work at a micro level or duplicating existing structures or are adhoc activities that have little or no long term impact.

To provide solutions to these issues, the Vadodara Collectorate under the stewardship of the Collector, has constituted the District CSR Cell to advise, assist, facilitate and collaborate with corporates to make CSR investments more meaningful and effective.
